Freddy Krueger of Nightmare on Elm Street is coming to the new Mortal Kombat game as a downloadable character. As a huge fan of the original movie, I was a little disappointed that the character was modeled after the new Krueger from the recent Nightmare on Elm Street remake instead of the traditional Robert Englund Freddy. I still rather enjoyed the remade film and thought the actor did an excellent job and Freddy's make-up was superb. Krueger will be available for download August 9th. Check out Freddy in action here.
